About me...

What I think you’d like to know about me:

• Married to the cutest PE coach EVER. We will be married for 25 years in July of 2020 and I am a princess in his eyes!

• Mother to 3 boys and 2 girls (1 was our German exchange student in 2011 that I will forever claim as my German daughter. Why is Germany so far??!!). My “baby” is 13 years old y’all. ;-(

• I’ve lived in Austin since the 3rd grade. Seen a bit of change through the years ;-) It’s outgrowing me, but I’m hanging on. I mean, there is NO place like Austin!

• What makes me happy: being in nature is A MUST, love me some beach time with a great book, jesus is my rock, traveling and exploring new places fills my bucket - even going solo! Organizing is one of my forms therapy along with picking wildflowers, reading and cycling.

• What inspires me when photographing: laughter - like big snort laughs, beautiful sunlight, love, emotions, shoes, wrinkles, snuggles, and being real!

My photography mission statement:
To raise awareness of not only the needs in this world, but also the love, struggles, and transparency of this beautiful, messy life.  In every session, I strive to capture genuine character and personalities. I work hard to fill every session with laughter and ease. You can leave your stress at home. If you prefer artificial lighting with a forest backdrop, please keep on looking. My passion is to capture real people in real moments, in all their beauty, honesty, and love. It is my honor and privilege to photograph the lovely images of your today, knowing they will be gone tomorrow.
